The Job
The Trainee Estates Caretaker post has been established to provide an individual with the opportunity to learn the skills and gain the experience required of a successful Estates Caretaker.
The Trainee Estates Caretaker will work under the direction and guidance of an experienced Estates Caretaker to carry out effective maintenance of Horizon's communal areas. This will include maintenance and improvement of landscaped areas and communal areas, maintenance of high quality neighbourhoods and to the overall housing services provided to the tenants and customers of Horizon.
You will need:
Willingness to work flexibly with other Estate Caretakers in the team Basic standard of IT skills and all-round knowledge of email Basic Health and Safety Awareness A commitment to providing excellent customer care Good communicator - both oral and written
Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work within a team Ability to follow instructions and procedures
